Who We Are
Building Empowerment and Development (BEMAD) is a youth-led initiative based in Starehe, Nairobi.
We are passionate about mental health awareness, youth empowerment, and community development.
Our Story
We started because too many young people are struggling silently.
Mental health is still misunderstood, and conversations are still rare.
Instead of staying silent, we chose to start something.
Not perfect. Not big. But real.
Our Mission
To promote youth mental well-being by providing psychosocial education, support services, and advocacy that strengthens emotional resilience.
